The New Way to Wear a Coat

Ellery has always been on the independent side so dressing has always made an interesting time for us. I let her pick her outfits during the week, but on Sunday I tell her I get final say on what she wears and it has to meet my approval. We still have some interesting discussions to get us into clothes, that don't quite meet my standards, but compromising is in my vocabulary even if others in our family don't think so-Rob. Today she decided to wear her coat as she felt fit-upside down. I am not sure if she meant to do it or just liked her mistake?

Dr. Seuss
I was inspired by a craft she made in MDO the week prior. It was a cute hand picture made into Thing 1 and Thing 2. I decided to try to do it on t-shirts, but bought red color shirts and I should have bought white. The project was already in progress so I adapted to make it work on red. They could be better, but still make me smile and I enjoyed making them!

Hair
I think we broke this wig out almost a year ago. I think we got Bryson wearing it last year, but he wanted nothing to do with it this year! Ellery is our dress up queen! She doesn't want to cut her hair, she wants to grow it out like Tangled aka Rapunzel.Wednesday, October 12, 2011
Monkey-ing Around

Ellery wanted to wear a monkey costume today and wore it most of the day! What you don't see in the picture is that it is a capri monkey costume this year!

Worn Out
Everyone had a great weekend in KC, but everyone was worn out from all of our fun activities. One would think that it was freezing cold in the car. Rob does keep it cooler in the car, but not so cold you need all the accessories Ellery put on!

Dressing Fun
These pants are not meant to be pulled so high, but this is what came walking around the corner ready for the day!
