Uncle Tom

My kids loved Uncle Tom before this weekend, but Uncle Tom just got a new air hockey table. I think it moved him up even further on their list if that could even be possible??? Ellery loves Aunt Warie as well! Aunt Laurie would then call herself Warie and Ellery would try to correct her to Laurie, but it still came out Warie.

Happy Thanksgiving

So much to be thankful for......I read a sign that said "We don't need More to be thankful, we need to be More thankful!"

We had a great time with Grandma Ellen, Uncle Tom, Aunt Laurie, and Grandma Gray. A big thanks to Laurie for doing the cooking and bringing it down to us, it was yummy. I am thankful for all of her help! Everyone enjoyed the day, Bryson might have enjoyed it the most. I think he was loved a lot of the time!

More Visitors

Grandma Ellen stopped by for a visit on her way to Sioux Falls for a couple of days. I think she enjoyed meeting Bryson and holding him.
Uncle Tom was coming through town as well. He was thrilled to hold Bryson, as the kids were thrilled to see him.

The Falls

While we were in Sioux Falls we spent some good quality time with Tom and Laurie. The kids light up when they see them and really enjoy the time. I was up in our bedroom packing for our trip, and I hear a horn honk and think that sounds like it is coming from my garage. I went to investigate and sure enough my kids are in the car. I was informed by Mason that he was just packing up his double and blankie for our trip and Ellery was our horn honking culprit.
We actually went to The Falls for the first time, well the kids had visited them prior to with Uncle Tom, but this was our first visit. No doubt it is where the town got it's name, but it was a beautiful sight and peaceful to watch.

Another Trip up North

While Rob worked all weekend Grandma Ellen and I loaded up the kids and headed north to Sioux Falls. Tom and Laurie hadn't seen the kids since they watched them in Sept. Uncle Tom said he was going through some kid withdrawal. We had a fabulous time visiting and everyone enjoyed our company as we did theirs. Well, maybe Carson, the dog, wasn't thrilled with the kids being back, but I do think Carson enjoyed cleaning up the floors after my children sat at the table. He even would sneak up to the table and try to sit with Mason. Carson is Laurie's empty nest pet, we predict Carson is in for a rude awakening when Laurie's first grand baby arrives in April.
