Baby Sitter

We had a daughter of one of Rob's co-workers come over and babysit the kids the other night. She did a good job, but we did find Mason's diaper on backwards??? I still put him in a diaper at night, but he is still waking up dry or waking up and going to the bathroom himself. Anyways, he used every trick in the bag in going to bed. I need a drink, I need socks, I need covers, etc. He did finally ask her "who's going to kiss me goodnight?" We usually give him a hug and kiss and he was reluctant to get it from her, but finally settled that she would have to do. I just thought that was cute and sweet of him.

Lauren the Babysitter

Lauren has been babysitting for us a lot lately and I think we might use her a few more times in the next 2.5 weeks. I have a massage gift certificate to use, gift certificates to a fancy restaurant, and would like to go to Summerfest one night and listen to music. She came over this evening and watched Ellery while Mason and I went to swimming. I left Ellery in one outfit and I came back and she was in another. Poor Lauren got the Ellery royal treatment in changing a #2 diaper.

We are sad to be leaving Lauren, she has been great with the kids and the added bonus is she lives across the alley. We did leaver her with both kids the other day while we went to Rob's fellowship graduation luncheon. Rob's phone rang 45 min after we left and we gave each other the "uh oh" look and it was Lauren, but only wanting to know if she could eat some of our leftovers. What a kid, I can't get Rob to eat the leftovers.
